Edward Chui is back this week featuring Daydream Trio, Johnson, Justin, and Cherie! We’ll start at 7:30pm this week!!!

Yarek - a talented Blues-rock and jazz guitarist, was born and raised in Poland, where as a musician he successfully cooperated with many great artists. In 2006 he placed third in a very reputable tournament for instrumentalists called “Solo of Your Life”. This contest was open to all of Poland. In 2009, he moved to the Fraser Valley of British Columbia.

Presently Yarek is working with many artists. His style is a blend of jazz, blues and rock music with the warm and melodic sounds of acoustic guitar. As a solo performer, “Yarek” provides easy listening live Jazz/Blues music; during his show you can hear his original compositions and renditions of Jazz blues and rock standards.

Edward Chui, featuring Johnson Liao (guitar), Justin Law (bass) and a Vancouver local band Daydream Trio. They will be jamming and singing LIVE at the Chill Restaurant and Lounge. We also have M.E. Feng, Margaret Wang and Clement Leung as our guest performers. This is CMEV (Chinese Music Entertainment Vancouver) live performance production.

Edward Chui is back for a second consecutive show! This Wednesday, Edward invited Warren Lo and Cherie Ng as guest performers.

Warren is the winner of 2003 New Talent Singing Awards Vancouver Audition and Cherie is the finalist of 2009 NTSA!

Edward Chui, the founder of CMEV (Chinese Music Entertainment Vancouver), is a passionate musician who aims to build a stronger base for local Asian talents.

As the son of a famous actor and a well-known actress from Hong Kong, this 26-year-old strives to utilize his connections to help bring other talents to the public stage. His emotional and mournful music style has touched many hearts. After participating in the 2009 NTSA, Edward currently works as a host at a local Chinese TV station. This Wednesday, Edward hosts and sings with gues performers Johnson Liao, Sandy Huang, and LOCUS.

Sunshine Priel had a great show and her voice is amazing! She is a singer/songwriter born in the Philippines. She Loves all kinds of music namely Pop, Alternative and Gospel. Her influences are Alanis Morrissette, Sarah MacLachlan, and Kari Jobe. She thrives on reaching out to people through songs that will bless their hearts and help them see the beauty in life.

Evan Catalano brought his guitar and sing a few tunes on Chill Stage! He shared some of his original work as well as a few Beatles song! Evan had a solo album – “Mysteries of the World” and won first place in a song writing contest for his song “Cryptic Crimes”!

Sayde Black was back with her guitar performing acoustic and pop music on Chill Stage! That’s our first this year; and we’re looking forward to new events next few weeks!!

Last event of the year! Ladies night at Chill…  All ladies coming to Chill tonight got a chance to win free meal!

DJ Lil Ivan spinning on Chill stage with live Hip-Hop, House and Top 40 hits! He brought out his heavy duty amps and other gadgets transforming Chill to a temporary night club scene…  something different than a Lounge but what a great fun night!

Christopher James’s magic show with flying tables and mind reading on Chill Stage. We had a full house all wow-ed by Christopher’s brilliant tricks!

Young and talented vocalist Stella & Nancy brought us R&B and Jazz pieces on Chill Stage. Stella performed 9 or 10 pieces without a sip of water! Impressive and eh… very impressive!!

Solo Beatboxing by Mixx (Micky Deng) who won 3rd place of the 2008 New Talent Singing Award Vancouver Audition! On Chill Stage, Mixx got everyone’s undivided attention and had a great show!
